Addding Participants to Your Meetings

Here's a quick explanation and walkthrough of how adding participants to meeting works and when people are auto added as participants and when you need to add people.

So anytime you have a meeting scheduled in your calendar,

as long as in the settings,

you have your integration and your calendar integration set up, anyone who's a participant in the meeting on your calendar invite will be added as a participant automatically

to all Ping meetings.

And then also in your meeting assistant setting, you'll wanna have it here that you have ping assistant join meetings automatically,

and then you never have to worry about ping joining your meetings there.

Back on the home page, um, anytime I create a new meeting over here, so whether I send it to a Zoom call, a phone call, a live audio, or an upload or recording, it's gonna come through with no participants on it because we're adding it separately here and it's not coming through our calendar.

So you'll need to go to that meeting and add participants up top. All you do is press the add participant,

search the person who was there.

For example,

if we go John here and now I add John and add that contact. I can add multiple contacts here,

um, and it'll add this context of the meeting to that client now. Anytime I add a client, it's not gonna inform the client client or notify them in any way. So if you ever have internal conversations,

feel free to add the context as well because they will not be informed, uh, about this either.

So that's how you add participants to your meetings, and you do need to add participants to meetings anytime that you create a meeting through the new meeting button. Um, but anytime you create the meeting through a calendar link and ping auto joins, you don't have to worry about adding participants to those meetings.
