Hey. Welcome to the Ping one zero one crash course on clients tab here. So we're gonna get some details on who your clients are, description.

0:08

When they list their client goals, those will automatically populate it here. We're gonna get some insight on the people we're talking with for this client. So we'll see William here as a family. He enjoys skiing.

0:18

Specific notes that are important to William here as well. These automatically fill out with ping, and we'll see that for everyone we're in communication with. And then down here is the entity breakdown. So the SOPs for the client, what platforms they're using, tax compliance items, if there's anything outstanding, and how they wanna run their financials. Again, these are... Everything on this page is automatically populated.

0:37

Then we're gonna be picking up on strategic notes. So if there's any outliers for this client, that'll automatically populate it here and tell you, hey. Make sure we take note of this. And then down here is our digital footprint.

0:48

So this is essentially everything to do with the client that has nothing to do with accounting. So we're looking at their website along with their LinkedIn to give you a description of who they are, where they're located. This one's a construction company, so where they're building and what they're building.

1:02

And then

1:04

here, we have a timeline of all the different communication everyone on our staff is having with this client. So we'll see there's a meeting here. I can get a quick summary of that meeting. I see can all the emails, click in, and I'll see those emails over here. We also see all the action items that were associated with this client

1:21

and then the contacts. This is super important. Make sure every single person you're in communication with for this client

1:28

is connected here.

1:30

Because if we have a meeting or email with, let's say, Docker who's not on here, Ping does not know that to update the Big W construction

1:38

client intelligence there. So in that case, I just hit new client, link existing, add doctors, email there.

1:45

And then configuration,

1:47

if they all have the same domain, you could enter their domain in here, and Ping's gonna automatically pick up on those

1:53

meetings and emails we're having with those clients. And then we can also have our integration synced here along with our Slack channels.

2:00

With the client tab, as long as the client's name is listed here, I can come in here and ask any general question about the client such as, have we ever

2:09

talked about

2:11

payroll?

2:12

This is just an example. Lot of different use cases for this. Instead of going back through email chains that are 37 messages long or all those different meeting notes, I can just come in here and ask Ping to populate that for us.

2:32

Does take a second here, but we'll be up and rolling in no time.

2:37

And then up here at the top four assignments, we can see who has access to this client. So everyone on the client assignments that's on the all clients list

2:46

will have access in the way... Another way to view that is here.

2:51

Close out of this for a second. We can see

2:54

all the different teams that have access there. So Andy do frame has access as client. Anyone on the all users team has access.

3:02

And then there's the ping response there about payroll.

3:05

And if we need to take a look at our client assignments and who has access to clients,

3:10

we can just go to organization,

3:11

client assignments,

3:13

and then see, okay, all clients here. There's 14 members. So all 14 members, these are our Ping users here. All 14 of them have access to

3:22

all 574

3:24

of these clients.

3:25

That is the quick rundown of Ping's

3:28

client intelligence. Let me know if you have any questions.

Summary

Docker Davis gives a walkthrough of Ping’s client tab, which automatically consolidates client and contact details, entity and compliance information, strategic notes, digital footprint, communications, and action items. Staff can query the client’s history in Ping, but must link every relevant contact so meetings and emails are captured in the client intelligence.

  • Add contacts under the client and configure shared email domains; integrations and Slack channels can also be synced.
  • Ask Ping general questions, such as whether payroll has been discussed, instead of searching long email threads or meeting notes.
  • Client assignments show access: the All Users team has access to all 574 clients, with 14 members.
